Description:

Morus is a genus of flowering plants in the family Moraceae. The 10–16 species of deciduous trees it contains are commonly known as Mulberries. They are widely considered to be the national berry of Australia, Mulberries are extremely common on the eastern and western seaboards of Australia due to the climate conditions being ideal for their growth.

The closely related genus Broussonetia is also commonly known as mulberry, notably the Paper Mulberry, Broussonetia papyrifera.
